How to Renew Emirates ID Online from home/office

from your comfort zone which can save your money and time.
Government fees
for Emirates ID renewal is 200 AED for 2 years and 300 AED for 3 years plus 40
AED additional online service charges but typing centres will charge you about
350 to 370 AED.
How to Renew Emirates ID Card Online:
To renew Emirates
identity card online, you will need to follow 7 simple steps, we have covered

Required Documents to Renew Emirates ID online:
1: Valid Passport
soft copy

Personal Photograph (only if want to change in ID)
Important Points before proceeding application:
1: Keep soft/hard
copy of your previous Emirates ID, Passport copy and visa copy with you
in-order to save your time while filling online renewal form.
2: You will be
asked to write IDN number, don’t worry it is the number of your Emirates ID
which starts with 784-19.
3: In Residency
permit details, you will need to write your UID (Unified ID Number) which is
stated on top of your visa page.
4: While updating your name details, if you don't have
a family name, your last name becomes your family name.

Create Account:
To begin, create
free account by clicking below Link which is the official Link of Federal
Authority for Identity and Citizenship Website.
You will provide
your Mobile number to get OTP and your Email address for username and Password,
which will be sent to you by mail.
Sign In and start renewal process:
Once you have
completed the sign-up process, check your inbox for username/password, after
signing in, you will see below options, click on RENEW YOUR ID CARD.
Step 1: Applicant
Class Information:
Choose
Resident/Expat in applicant class and write the renewal type in applicant class
details with IDN number, expiry date of your current card, nationality and
gender details.
Step 2: Name
Information:
Write your first
name and last name in both English and Arabic, no need to write second, third
or fourth name, just fill out the mandatory (*) fields.
Step 3: Personal

Write down your
mobile number which will be used later for tracking of your emirates ID and for
collection purpose.
Step 6: Delivery
Address Information:
This one is
important, write it carefully, we would recommend, “I don’t have personal or
company PO box” which will open a list of all postal branches across UAE,
you can choose your nearest branch for collecting your Emirates ID.
Step 7:
Attachments:
Upload the
require documents by clicking Attach File option.
Attachments
including your valid passport copy, residency copy, front and back side of your
previous Emirates ID.
Once you have
completed all the steps, you will see a status which shows completed
percentage, it should be 90% to proceed next step.
Submit
Application:
After completing
90% of your form, click on next button which shown above, you will be
redirected to online payment portal, but before redirecting to online payment
portal, they may send you OTP on your mobile in-order to verify.
Print and Save:
Once you have
paid online, print out the application and save its soft copy, receipt or
confirmation email of your paid transaction will be sent to you by mobile or
through email address.
What if you made
a Mistake by filling online form:
In case if you
have missed something or you made a mistake and
submitted the application, immediately call 600530003 and let them know by
providing your application number.
Don’t worry, you
have 24 hours to edit and update your application without any cost, but it is
advisable to read and write all information very careful as once your card
printed or issued, changes will become more harder more expensive.
Collection of your Emirates ID:
Once your
application to renew Emirates ID online get approved and submitted, your
Emirates ID will become available for collection at a post office of your
choice or your company's post box (card will be delivered to the area which you
mentioned in the application).
If you have written
your mobile number in application of Emirates ID online renewal, you
will be notified by SMS when the card is ready for collection.
