Important update for visit visa, cancelled visa and expire visa holders
An important update which needs to be share to people on visit/tourist visas, expired or cancelled visa holders.
ATTENTION PLEASE! Eid holiday is approaching, and with government offices to close from April 6, Saturday until April 14, Sunday, Please make sure you don't get overstay fine.
Also please make sure you don’t caught with an overstayed visa as UAE Government is dealing strictly with people violating visa duration.
Also a News is circulating on social media by visa agents that people with overstay visit or tourist visas are automatically getting absconding ban by immigration.
So, if you are on near expiry visas or your visit or residence visas are already expired, try to renew it before the immigration closes for Eid Al Fitr Holidays.
We recommend you to renew residency visas, extend the visits and do proper in/out (status change) before April 6, Saturday to avoid overstay fines.

For example if you are overstaying or near to overstay, you might get nine days extra fine due to closure of immigration offices.
The fine for overstaying on visit or residence visa now 50 AED Per day. Nine day fine is between AED 450 to 500 including vat and service charges.
