12 Year boy rescued from Parents, Eating Goat Food and Feces in a Cage from 2 years

Very sad news comes from Nigeria, Badariya area of birnin kebbi. A 12-year-old boy has been rescued from his own family after being chained and caged in an animal shed, eating goat food for 2 years.

Jibril a 12 year old boy shuffles along the dirt, eating goat food and even his own feces (poo) with his bony shoulders poking through his loose T-shirt.

His painfully thin legs look like twigs in the photos as a rescuer tries to help him to his feet.

In a report by The Daily Mail, BBC, a group of human rights lawyers went to the residence of the family after receiving a complaint regarding the abuse. There, the report said, they found the boy starving and barely able to stand.

BBC news also reported that the kid was tied to a wooden pillar and had been living and sleeping with goats and chickens in a cage from last two years.

The head of the rescue team also stressed that the boy’s family, including his father, three wives (stepmothers to a kid), and siblings, were living in comfort inside the house.

It was also reported that one of the victim’s brother told journalists that the boy was suffering from epilepsy and was chained to stop him from roaming around and going missing.

“Our men have arrested the father and 3 wives for allegedly chaining the boy for over 2 years,” said DSP Nafi’u Abubakar, the Public Relations Officer of the rescue team.

Report added: “The 12-year-old boy ate goat and chicken food while his father, 3 stepmothers, 17 siblings live in comfort.

After being chained in animal shed for 2 years, the boy get rescued from father, stepmothers. He was rushed to the hospital and is now in intensive care unit.
