VAT Exempted Sectors in UAE
VAT in UAE is trending from last few months, the FTA in UAE (Federal Tax Authority)
has just announced the sectors that will be subject to VAT (Value Added Tax) as
of 1st January 2018, revealing some selected sectors that will be
assigned zero-rated tax, (0% tax) such as healthcare, education,
transportation, real estate, oil and gas.
Transportation,
real estate and financial service sectors will be completely exempt from Value added
tax.
The
Cabinet of UAE is expected to issue a decision to identify the government
bodies and non-profit organizations in UAE that are not subject to Value Added
Tax (VAT).
We

subject to the 5% VAT (Value Added Tax), also zero-rated (0% Tax) sectors and exempt
