Breaking: Facemasks, PCR for travelling, Al hosn and Border New Rules
Big news comes from NCEMA UAE, Facemasks are not mandatory to wear in open spaces, PCR Negative is not must to travel to UAE and Al Hosn Green pass is not required to enter Abu Dhabi starting February 26, 2022.
AL Hosn Green Pass:

Green Pass New Rules:
The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has scrapped the green pass and EDE screening requirements for passengers from within the country to enter the emirate, from Monday, February 28.
However, the green pass will still be required to enter public spaces in Abu Dhabi, the authorities said.

Facemask Rules:
UAE drops mandatory wearing of face masks in outside areas.
People will no longer have to wear face masks outside from Saturday, Feb 26, Abu Dhabi and Dubai's crisis authorities have confirmed.
It following the announcement on Friday from the UAE federal government's crisis authority that wearing face masks in outdoor areas will no longer be mandatory.
Instead, the use of face masks outside will now be optional.

PCR test for Travelling:
UAE scraps PCR test requirement for fully vaccinated passengers.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), in coordination with its main partners, has announced updating the COVID-19 countermeasures from Saturday (February 26).Among updated travel protocols, Passengers travelling to Dubai and UAE will need to present an approved covid-19 vaccination certificate that contains a QR code.
Unvaccinated People:
Authorities confirmed that the unvaccinated individuals travelling to UAE must take and present negative PCR test report before 48 hours of flight.

Key Points:
- For UAE economic and tourist sectors, physical distancing has been canceled while mask-wearing in closed places is still mandatory.
- The authorities also approved the return of the pre-pandemic time intervals between prayer calls and the iqama, in addition to the return of Noble Qur’an books to mosques in a limited number on the condition of being sterilized after each prayer.
- It’s also been decided to cancel the quarantine requirements for COVID-19 contacts. Covid-19 contacts working in all state sectors have to conduct a PCR test daily for five days’ time.
- The wearing of face masks in open spaces have been made optional in the UAE.
