No Extension Announced, Fines to start After Sep 11, Check Your Fines Online


As all know that the 1 month extension announced as a Grace period for all visit and tourist visa holders whose visas are expired after March 1 is ended. The extension started from August 11 and was valid till September 11. Their is not new extension announced yet. Read full details of extension here.

If their is not new extension, it means their will be overstay fines. Have you checked your last day of stay in UAE? If not Check your visa validity through below link.



Yes you heard it right, Earlier all Visas expired on and after March 1 were extended and allowed to stay in the country legally without any fine until December 2020 which is now cancelled. you can now check it through below UAE visa checking official website.




How to Check Your Visa Status:
Follow below simple steps, Expats with visa issued by any Emirates can check their visa status and visit or tourist visa validity through below linked ICA official website





1.    Visit above mentioned website
2.     Select passport in search by and visa in select the type.
3.     Enter your passport number
4.     Write passport expiry date
5.     Choose nationality
6.     I’m not a robot
7.     Search

You will get status of your visa once you clicked the search button, the main and important point which we want you to note down is the expiry date of your visa, Earlier the ICA extended all visas to 31/12/2020 with status of USED which is not changed to 10/09/2020. with Nearly Expiry status.

So, if you are inside UAE on expired visit or tourist visa, your grace period is already started from August 11 and will end on September 10 or 11, try to renew your visa (in/out) or leave UAE to your home country in-order to avoid heavy fines.



Overstay Fines:

In case if you delayed for the days more than mentioned on ICA UAE website, you will be charged 200 AED for the first day of overstay, followed by the 100 AED for each consecutive day. Whereas fine on residence visa will be 125 AED for the first day and then 25 AED will be charged for each consecutive day.
