Dubai Closed Restaurants, Cafes, Cafeterias, Coffee Shops for 2 weeks
As part of preventive measures below establishments across Dubai will be closed for 2 weeks starting from today 23 March, 2020.
1. Restaurants
2. Cafes
3. Cafeterias
4. Coffee shops
5. Food service establishments
Restaurants at hotels and hotel
apartments providing services for guests only, and food delivery services and
transportation are exempt from the closure.
They are required to strictly adhere
to safety requirements.
Earlier today, the UAE has decided to
close all commercial centers and shopping malls along with fish, meat and
vegetable markets for a renewable period of two weeks.

In a statement early Monday, the
Ministry of Health and Prevention and National Emergency and Crisis and
Disasters Management said the decision, which excludes dealing with
wholesalers, will come into force in 48 hours, will be subject to
re-assessment.
Grocery stores and pharmacies are
excluded, subject to review and evaluation.
Home Deliveries for Restaurants:
Under the decision, restaurants will
not be allowed to receive customers. Instead, their services will be limited to
home deliveries only.
