Dubai is safe to travel, fake news about Dubai, Iran bomb Dubai news

Rumors that Iran will bomb Dubai is totally fake, not only UAE but IRAN officials also confirmed it. Government of UAE requested residents to not trust the western especially British media channels.



UAE, Dubai is safe and secure for all its residents, tourists and nationals and the threat of targeting Dubai circulating on internet and social media are fake, residents urged to be calm and only look for the statement from official sources in UAE.

The Dubai government also issued a statement, rubbishing the rumors floating on international media that Dubai was not a safe place to visit following purported threats from an Iranian official.

It also warned media organizations to not publish such rumors, and urged them to publish only accurate news.

MOFA Statement:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation said in a statement that it was closely following the regional developments and reaffirmed the importance of de-escalating current tensions.



In a statement, the Ministry said that all sectors across UAE continue to operate as normal and the recent issues between US and Iran will not affect citizens, residents and visitors in the UAE.

Dubai Media Office Statement:

The Dubai Media office also clarified that the rumors being circulated online as regards alleged “security threats targeting Dubai” are not true.

Dubai Media Office warned citizens, residents, and visitors to refrain from sharing this false piece of information within their online social circles to break its chain.

It also emphasized that the circulating rumor was not issued by any official source from the Iranian Government.

Spreading rumors is a criminal offence as per UAE Law, as it could adversely affect the economy and destabilize the security of the country. Sharing rumors or unconfirmed news is the punishable crime by law with a fine of up to Dh1 million.
